This is one of Cat's best selling excavators. The model is not that great of a representation of the popular machine.
Here is the rear counterweight that is very simplistic.
This is the right side. While there is a grab hand rail but it is way oversized. The boom can go way out.
The boom folds up so it can easily be trans ported. The only inaccuracy in the model is the cab. It is way to tall.
Here you can see the maximun diging depth of the machine. It is about 3 3/4.
